Introducing our newest addition to the Grosvenor Hartley range, this gargantuan triple layered sunburst mirror is certainly a show stopper. 
 
We absolutely adore the sunburst mirrors that we have sourced over the years, with many pieces ranging from around 100 years old, to later models from the 1960s and 70s. Their eye-catching designs, with their golden fronds make them more a piece of wall art to be admired, and certainly add interest to a blank wall space. 
 
Our inspiration for this striking piece came from one of our favourite pieces to pass through our hands:  a rather splendid, vintage, Spanish, triple layered frond design around a central convex mirror.
Each of the fronds has been meticulously handmade and layered to create depth and interest, before being coloured using different tones of gilding paint to give an authentic look. There are no wobbly or loose fronds or chips like you may have with an original piece. These are new and made to order, but still have a vintage vibe and the design aesthetics of the antique and vintage models of the past.
 
It is heavy in weight with a handy hanging hook, but not too weighty to safely and confidently attach to a wall.
 
Substantial and intriguing, this versatile piece is the perfect addition to any interior. A hard one to part with, in fact we will definitely very happily give this a temporary home!!
